How Long Will We Keep Your Data?
When we store information, we keep it for the following periods: -
- Information gathered on our website for the purposes of promoting and delivering our services is retained for 12 months from the date of consent been provided.
- Correspondence not relating to a contract will be retained for 3 years following its creation.
- Records and documents relating to contracts will be retained for 7 years from the date of agreement.
- Information relating to warranties will be held for up to 5 years from the date of delivery.
- Information and documents that relate to unsuccessful job applicants will be retained for 2 years from the date of notification to the applicant.
We keep your data whilst we are working with you and retain some of that data in order to establish good business practices and to comply with legal requirements.

Who Has Access to Your Data?
Where does your data go? -
- Invoices will be stored on our accounting system Sage/Xero/Quickbooks and stored in the UK.
- To process payment the relevant information will be passed to *Card Machine Provider*.
- Aggregate information on the usage of our website will be passed to third parties (e.g. Google Analytics) but this will not include data that can be used to identify a natural person.
- Where we do collect personal information this will be stored on the systems of our software cloud service based in *insert cloud location country*. We will continue to check that the providers implement appropriate security measures to protect the data.
As a principle we do not share any of the personal information that we hold. However, in the course of running our business some data does get transferred outside of our organisation.
Where is the Information Stored?
When you provide information, we will store it on our inhouse system. When we do store data we ensure reasonable measures are taken to protect it. We currently use the following technology providers: -
- Productivity: Microsoft 365 (UK) – Customer contact details, addresses, email, general file storage.
- Accounting: Sage/Xero/Quickbooks – Contact details, invoices.
- Website Analytics: Insert if used.
- Business Banking: Insert bank account provider.
- Card Payments: Insert provider.
We also use Cookies to store information on your own equipment to improve your experiences of working on our website.
Your data is kept online with reputable solutions providers. A limited amount of information may be kept in our paper notes.
How Do We Get Permission to Use Your Data?
Where we collect personal information, we do so on the basis that you: -
- Have specifically consented.
- Have entered into a contract with Eden Bathrooms.
- Have engaged with our website and have an interest in our services.
If we seek to collect personal information through our website on a form, we will be up-front and open about this. We will make it evident when we are collecting personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.
